He threw his son, Kazuya, off a cliff while he was still a child due to suspecting he inherited the Devil Gene from his mother (and Heihachi's wife) Kazumi, which later lead to a seemingly endless feud between them among other members of the Mishima bloodline. Heihachi is a ruthless, cunning businessman who runs the multinational conglomerate known as the Mishima Zaibatsu, and started the tournament depicted in the first Tekken game to gather soldiers for personal use. He is a bald old man wearing a black, damaged karate gi with a red belt, and is a master of the Mishima Style of karate, a fighting style also seen in his son Kazuya Mishima and grandson Jin Kazama (but only in Tekken 3). Heihachi Mishima is a recurring character from the Tekken series, appearing in every Tekken game and commonly seen as a mascot of the franchise. ![]() There are versions of this character available that don't have their own branch articles!
